Dissertation
My thesis is on Model-driven development of Interactive Applications. Applications are increasingly modelled in high-level languages like UML. Instead of transforming such a model into code my approach focuses on employing an abstract model of interaction and employing it to enable multimodal interaction.
Work Experience
Assistant, University of Ulm. Assistance from draft to implementation of Transregional Collaborative Research Centre SFB/TRR 62 “Companion-Technology for Cognitive Technical Systems”, spanning two universities and approx. 100 people. Work on generating multimodal user interfaces. (April 2008 - September 2009)
Assistant, University of Ulm. Organized and implemented relaunch of the website of the faculty for engineering and computer science using Typo3. (July 2007 - March 2008)
Assistant, University of Ulm. In the Sofa Project I implemented merging of account data for a campus-wide single sign-on, while accounting for data privacy. (October 2002 - April 2004)
Teaching Experience
Teaching Assistant, University of Ulm. Instituted a hands-on course for learning Java with problem sheets and a complete workbook. Received in.Centi Award for dedication in teaching 2009. (April 2008 - September 2009, 3 semesters)
